Spend the day creating two unique books from scratch using specialist bookbinding materials. Learn how to fold, bind and assemble your books and take home a set of instructions so that you can continue the craft at home.
The first book is a hard backed book with an exposed spine and covered with traditional book cloth. Made out of quality papers and stitched together with decorative french link stitch this book is ideal as a sketchbook or special note book. Choose from a selection of art and cartridge papers to suit your needs whether it be for painting, drawing or writing.
The second book is an 80 page leather bound journal with exposed decorative stitching and your choice of embellishments and fastenings. Get creative and spend time personalising your leather cover with off cuts of different coloured leather and a range of threads and buttons.
All materials and tools are provided and demonstrations are given at every step. Wide choice of colours available so that you can create personal and unique books to your taste.
