SATURDAY 6TH NOVEMBER - GLYDE -IN COMMUNITY CENTRE - $125
In this workshop we will be celebrating the textures and forms of Australia's native plants through combining the printing technique of monotype and colourful cut paper collage. Suitable for any level.
Spend the morning printing by hand using the tactile and immediate technique of monotype. We will be working loosely to print numerous textures and marks onto subtly coloured paper in a direct response to native plants and flowers. The ink we will use is artist quality water-based printing ink. In the afternoon we will be playing with form and composition to produce a sophisticated and decorative cut paper collage on mount board from our mornings print experimentations.
All materials supplied as well as tea, coffee and biscuits. Bring an apron and lunch (or purchase food from nearby shops/cafes in neighbouring George Street). Plenty of nearby parking.
