CONVERGENCE SOLO SHOW 2026
Currently on display at The Old Courthouse Complex in Busselton until 29 March. SOLD
Every winter I am drawn inland to the open Wandoo woodlands and diverse Kwongan heaths to spend time walking, observing and painting. These remnant islands of bush found in The Wheatbelt have lower rainfall than the Jarrah, Marri forests and an altogether different feel. Greens are muted, the earth glows pink in parts, bright sunlight illuminates pale tree limbs and blood red bark falls in strips to the ground. As a migrant from verdant England I am captivated by the timeless quality of this ancient landscape and compelled to return.
