PAINTINGS > 2021

Spring 2021 was amazing, an abundance of flowers were in bloom across the South West corner of WA. Each year I walk in the mixed woodlands of Wandoo, Jarrah and Marri trees near Perth. This painting is about the blaze of colour seen through the Wandoo trees on one of the first warm days after the long wet winter. Both the sunshine and the flowers combined to create an heavenly dazzling light.
