I have been running a termly Expressive Landscapes Class for some years now. The emphasis in this class is to investigate the subject of landscape through expressive painting and experimental print making. As from 2022 there are now parts to the course - 4 weeks painting and 4 weeks printmaking. You may enrol for either or both courses.
TERM 1 2022 RUNS FROM 8 - 28 MARCH
This course involves taking a closer look at the landscape through playful printmaking. Exploring textures and natural forms though several different printmaking techniques which can include: monoprinting, monotype, relief and intaglio printing, artist books and more. This term; (Term 2 2022) we will be focussing on the painterly printing method of monotype.
Guidance is given and notes are provided on a regular basis. You are encouraged to find your own voice and explore a subject matter within the landscape that inspires you. Come and join in the experimental fun.
