Dryandra Woodland, 160km east of Perth is an important nature reserve that provides essential habitat to many endangered creatures. It features extensive stands of Wandoo, Powderbark Wandoo and Salmon Gum. I return to this small peaceful pocket of woodland each winter to walk among the trees.
