Expressive Landscapes - Tuesday morning class at Atwell Arts Centre. 9 - 11:30am. First class starts on Tuesday 2nd February

On Tuesday mornings I teach landscape painting. I share techniques and different ways of applying paint as well as teaching some key concepts of colour and composition. I often give out handouts to explain the concepts so that you can revisit them whenever needed. Landscape painting is an important part of my life and I enjoy sharing my artistic journey and experiences in class. Please note that although I do a lot of demonstrations showing the stages of a technique or concept, I tend not to teach step by step paintings. I prefer to encourage participants to develop their own style and choice of landscape. We often do warm up exercises to try out ideas and techniques before embarking on making a painting that may typically take a few weeks before we move on to another aspect of painting.
