Stitch, cover and assemble your own handmade books made from leather, card & specialist materials. This short course focuses on learning three different binding techniques all with exposed stitching that is both functional and beautiful. Choose from a selection of quality leathers,threads and papers and have fun marbling your own paper to include as decorative end pages. For those who have been to my classes before this course includes some new stitching methods and techniques. In the classes there will be time to embellish and personalise your books so that you take home three unique books that are perfect to keep as personal diaries or give away as special gifts.
Take home a set of ‘how to’ notes each week so you can continue the craft at home.
